鍛金とは・・・
金属を金床や烏口などに添えて金鎚で打つことで形を変えていく技法。
塊や一枚の板から、さまざまな形を作ることができる。

We sell works by metal craft artist Chikako Ueda.

Born and raised in Kyoto, we produce a variety of metalwork items, including tea utensils, sencha utensils, vases, incense burners, and household utensils.

Using the traditional technique of metal forging, I strive to create pieces that convey warmth within the metal.
We hope you will pick it up and incorporate it into your daily life.

What is forging...
A technique of changing the shape of metal by placing it on an anvil or coracoid and hitting it with a hammer.
Various shapes can be made from a block or a single board.
